behind the movement

Eureka Patton, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, moved to Houston, Texas in 1978. While she cherishes her fond memories of Mardi Gras, Arts and Heritage Festivals, Cajun cuisine, crawfish, and music (especially jazz), the greater Houston area is where she has made an indelible mark in the professional business sector. This highly efficient, proficient, and successful business powerhouse has adopted as her motto the expression, “Eureka… I found it!” This statement is noted as first being exclaimed by the excited ancient Greek mathematician and scientist, Archimedes, upon making a great mathematical discovery. Thus, Eureka has lived by the essence of this expression, not only because it is inclusive of her given name, but because she is constantly looking toward new discoveries and business opportunities that will propel her to EXcelevating levels of success.

Eureka has been a major force in the real estate arena for over twenty years.  Her outstanding contributions and success in this field are indisputable. Her list of qualifications includes professionalism, strong ethics, a sense of style, and the ability to analyze and negotiate, as well as work with people from all walks of life.

In addition to her affiliations with organizations that foster her individual self-improvement, Eureka is also committed to engaging in causes that help others reach their dreams and potential. One such entity for which she is intensely involved is The Secret Place Book Club, a subsidiary of SEG-WAY International, Inc. She served as the Director of PR/Marketing & Social Media for 10 years.

In July 2018, she opened the doors to her own massage company. This monumental accomplishment was the fulfillment of her life-long dream of becoming a business owner. Eureka strives to provide excellent service and stands firmly on her promise, purpose, vision, and values in every aspect of her life. Another “Eureka…I found it!” was when she established her 501c3 non-profit organization “EXcelevating Women, Inc. est. 2020. EXcelevating Women, Inc. was birth to help women excel educationally, financially, physically, and professionally, while at the same time elevating spiritually. EXcelevating Lives is what Eureka does. 

 

Undoubtedly, Eureka’s professional life keeps her EXcelevating; however, she maintains balance in her life. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports, cooking, working in her yard, and listening to jazz. Although this business professional and entrepreneur has already accomplished so much for herself and others, with great expectation, she will continue to look forward to future “Eureka… I found it!” discoveries and opportunities, and she will continue to trust and seek God’s guidance, dream big, prepare for future endeavors, work with excellence, and serve others with passion, compassion, and competence.
